What’s On

Aberswing is a swing dance club based in Aberystwyth, Wales, UK. We run courses for beginners and intermediates, and we fit in as much social dancing as we can.

Swing is a partnered dance that originated in the 1930s and 40s. It’s great fun, and very relaxed – so it’s easy to look good even if you’ve only been learning a short while. Even if you have never danced before come along and give it a go – if you can walk, you can dance!

Regular classes

We dance on Tuesdays usually in Morlan, Aberystwyth. The cost is £4 per evening or £20 for 6 weeks.

Our beginners classes start from Tuesday January 28th 2020 in Morlan, Queens Road, Aberystwyth. Beginners classes are at 8:30pm, intermediate classes at 7:30pm and social dancing 9:30 – 10:30pm. Wear anything comfortable but slippy shoes are better than trainers. Just £4 on the door, come and give it a go.

See our Aberswing Facebook group for up to date info.
