This Friday evening (12th) we'll be social dancing on the prom. Meet us at 8pm outside the Marine Hotel. At the moment the weather forecast is dry, but if it rains we'll shelter in the Glen for a drin
Welcome to AberSwing, the only swing dance club in Aberystwyth (possibly the only swing dance club in Wales!). We run courses for beginners and intermediates, and we fit in as much social dancing as we can.
Swing is a partnered dance that originated in the 1930s and 40s. It's great fun, and very relaxed - so it's easy to look good even if you've only been learning a short while. Even if you have never danced before come along and give it a go - if you can walk, you can dance!
We mainly dance Lindy hop, and we also have some classes covering 1920s Charleston and Balboa.
